Our last two updates for iOS bring improvements to enhance your Location History experience and help you better organize your journal.
Location History Improvements
We’ve made several enhancements to Location History, making it easier than ever to track and customize your places, including:
- Custom Place Names – You can now rename locations to make them more meaningful to you.
- Easier Place Selection – Quickly select nearby places when reviewing your visit history.
- New Auto-Title Option – A toggle in settings lets you automatically insert place names as entry titles when journaling.
To get started, visit Settings > Location History.
Stay Organized with Duplicate Entry Detection
No more accidental duplicates entires! Now, when moving or copying entries within the same journal, you’ll get a notification if a duplicate exists, helping you keep your journal more organized. This can be especially useful if you’re importing journals, ensuring you don’t create unintended copies.
New Edit Button on Journal Home
Want to quickly adjust your journal’s title, description, color or advanced settings? We’ve added an Edit button to the journal home screen, making it easier to manage these edits.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue with some icons not loading on first launch
- Fixed issue with the On This Day widget not displaying data sometimes
- Fixed a several misc. crash issues
- Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad when moving or copying entries between journals
