What if I don’t want to see Prompt Packs in Day One?
If prompted writing isn’t your style, you can toggle off the Prompts tab in Settings to hide Prompt Packs and the Prompts tab from your journal.

If you’re currently running Day One for iPhone or iPad (version 2025.17 or higher) or Day One for Android (version 2025.19 or higher) and you still don’t see Prompt Packs, visit Settings > Prompt Packs to toggle them on. If your device language isn’t set to English, Prompt Packs aren’t enabled by default.
Which Prompt Pack should I start with?
It depends on your goals. If you’re looking to focus on gratitude, start with a Gratitude Pack. Want to explore mindfulness? Try a Mindfulness Pack. If you’re completely new, you might try the About Me pack to explore your personal bio. You can browse the full library to see which theme resonates most with you right now.
Can I upload my own Prompt Packs?
