Gallery Improvements for Web and More

New gallery features on Day One for the web, including drag-and-drop media organization.

We’ve been hard at work enhancing Day One for the web with new features and usability improvements, especially for those who love to capture and organize media in their journals. Here’s what’s new.

Organizing and managing your media is now more intuitive with these updates to galleries:

Create Galleries with a Simple Drag-and-Drop

You can now create a gallery by dropping an image directly into another. This makes arranging your photos and videos in your entries a bit more smooth.

Drag and Drop Reordering

Rearrange your galleries with drag-and-drop reordering. Just click, drag, and drop your media into the perfect sequence to tell your story.

Remove Images from Galleries

Want to take an image out of a gallery? Simply drag it outside the gallery, and it will return to the main body of your entry.

View Browser Storage Information

Curious about how much space you’re using? Head to Settings to view detailed information about your browser storage. This can help you manage your storage and ensures your journaling experience remains smooth and optimized.
