Adding emoji in Day One for macOS

To add emoji to your entries in Day One for macOS:

• When editing an entry, go to Edit > Emoji & Symbols in the menu bar (or use the FN/Globe+E keyboard shortcut) to open the Mac’s Character Viewer
• Find the emoji you want to add, and double-click it to insert it into your entry.

Note that you have to double-click the emoji to add it. A single click will not work.
