Importing Data From Diaro
This article explains how to import Diaro files. It’s important to note that Diaro and Diarium are two different journaling platforms. Currently, there’s no supported method to transfer files from Diarium to Day One.
Importing Diaro entries to Day One is only supported on our Android app. There is currently not a way to import Diaro entries from the Day One iOS, Mac, and web apps.
To import from Diaro, you’ll first need to get your export file from Diaro on your Android device. Please take a look at this support page, as it will give you the step-by-step instructions: https://diaroapp.com/faq/how-do-i-backup-my-data/
Now you will import your Diaro entries over into Day One:
- Open Day One for Android
- Go to Day One > Settings > Import/Export
- Tap on Import Diaro .zip file
- Open the folder where the export is stored and tap on the Diaro .zip file
- Your Diaro entries and photos will be imported into Day One
