How to Copy Entries

You can copy your entries on our iOS and macOS apps. Here’s how to do it:

To Copy Entries on iOS

1. From the List view, tap the entry
2. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner
3. Tap “Copy to“
4. Tap the desired Journal to copy the entry to it

Note: In the iPad app, there is an icon at the top of each entry that looks like 2 overlapping squares, and this can be mistaken for a ‘copy’ or ‘duplicate’ icon, but in fact it means “open in new window” and it can be used to open the same entry in another window using the iPad’s ‘split screen’ feature.

To Copy Entries on macOS

1. From the List view, click the entry
2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner
3. Click “Edit“
4. Click “Copy to“
5. Click the desired Journal to copy the entry to it

It is not currently possible to copy entries on our Android or Web apps.
