How to Copy Entries

To Copy Entries on iOS

1. From the List view, tap the entry
2. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner
3. Tap “Copy to”
4. Tap the desired Journal to copy the entry to it

To Copy Entries on macOS

1. From the List view, click the entry
2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner
3. Click “Edit”
4. Click “Copy to”
5. Click the desired Journal to copy the entry to it

To Copy Entries on Android

On Android you can copy an entry into another journal (or duplicate it within the same journal), or copy the entry’s text to your clipboard.

Copy an entry to a journal

1. Open the entry, then tap the 3 dots (︙) in the top right corner
2. Tap “Copy to Journal”
3. Choose the journal you want to copy the entry to. You can select a different journal, or the same journal the entry already lives in to create a duplicate.

Copy an entry to the clipboard

1. Open the entry, then tap the 3 dots (︙) in the top right corner
2. Tap “Copy to Clipboard”
3. The entry’s text is copied as plain text, ready to paste into another app or entry.

Copy to Clipboard copies the entry’s text only — photos, audio, and other attachments aren’t included. This option appears only for entries that contain text.

To Copy Entries on Web

1. From the List view, click the entry
2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner
3. Click “Copy”
4. Click the desired Journal to copy the entry to it
