Importing Data from Plain Text

To import entries through Plain Text files you’ll want to make sure you follow the example we’ve provided below. It’s also important to note:

• Media cannot be imported via the Plain Text import.
• The option for Plain Text requires that each entry must have a date stamp.
  • The date format needs to be the same format as your computer. For example, if your computer uses dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm format, you should follow it.
  • Our example below uses this format:
    • Date: June 24, 2016 at 10:59:06 AM MDT
• Location or weather are not required for importing.
• There must be two carriage returns between the end of one entry and the next date. 
• There must be two carriage returns between the date and the entry.
