Deleting Journals

How to delete a journal in Day One

You can delete journals you no longer need. Keep in mind that any journal you delete will also delete all the entries in that journal, so proceed with caution.

Note: There isn’t an option to restore a deleted Journal, so please proceed carefully. If you have accidentally deleted a journal or are missing one do reach out to support and provide these details so we can work with you to restore the data:

  • The approximate number of entries in the deleted journal
  • The estimated creation date of the deleted journal.

  1. Tap Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen).

  2. Tap Journals.

  3. Tap the journal you wish to delete.
