Journal views in Day One for iOS

Day One offers four different views for your data.  You can view your List, Calendar, Media, and Map. Each one offers a different perspective on looking back on your memories.

The view options are along the top of the app. Each one is a tap away.

List

This is a chronological list of the entries. Entries on the same date will be under one date heading on the right side. Tap the date to view the Today view.

Calendar

Using the Calendar view, you can view past entries or scroll to a date to create entries on past or future days. See here.

Media

You can use the filters at the top to filter between Photos, Video, Audio, and PDF entries.

Maps

Tap on the pins to view the entries associated with those locations.

Tips!

While scrolling through the List, Calendar, or Media view, you can tap on that view at the top again to scroll to the current date or most recent entry.
